Refund policy

Refunds
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. Items that are correctly supplied but returned incur a 20% handling fee that covers processing, shipping, and handling costs for custom and non-stock items. The customer is responsible for covering return shipping costs. 

To start a return, you can contact us at team@carboncraze.co.uk. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at team@carboncraze.co.uk. 

Cancellations
We understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel an order that has already been shipped, please note that a 20% handling fee will apply. This fee helps cover processing, shipping, and handling costs for custom and non-stock items, which are crafted or sourced specifically for your order. 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as special orders or personalised items. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about a specific product. 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Warranty Coverage: All items purchased from our car parts store are covered by a 6-month warranty against defects. This warranty ensures that the product is free from any manufacturing defects or faults in materials.

Inspection upon Receipt: It is essential to inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If you notice any defects or damages, please contact our store within 48 hours of receiving your order. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly and ensure a replacement item is shipped out to you.

Return Requirements: When returning a defected item, it must be returned in its original packaging to prevent damage during transit. The item should be securely packaged to avoid any additional harm. Failure to return the item in its original packaging may result in the warranty being voided.

Proof of Purchase: To initiate a warranty claim, you must provide proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation or receipt. This documentation is necessary to validate the warranty and ensure that the claim is processed correctly.
